7005 Series Detectable Warning Plates EJIW’s detectable warning plates are made from durable cast iron, designed to withstand rigorous urban conditions. Cast iron is inherently resistant to corrosion from the elements, lasting for many years without additional maintenance. Over time the gray iron plates will develop a natural dark patina that contrasts with the adjacent walkway. The detectable warning plates can easily be installed while pouring new concrete. The integral lugs on the plate's bottom allow the concrete to seep into the open areas of the lugs to provide a secure bond to the wet concrete. Work can be completed by curb and gutter, sidewalk, and flatwork contractors. EJIW’s truncated dome design and dimensions are in compliance with ADA Accessibility Guidelines for Detectable Warnings.Sizes and Options:
