Expansion Beads

Trim-Tex offers the following expansion beads. These beads feature a patented coextruded design that joins rigid PVC with flexible PVC. It is recommended that all expansion beads be installed with 847 Spray Adhesive and staples.

093V provides superior expansion control, twice the movement of zinc, is easier to use and half the price. The 093V's deep rigid PVC "V" is joined at the bottom with a flexible connection, allowing a full 1/4" in controlled movement. Rust proof, high impact, dent resistant rigid vinyl eliminates expensive jobsite damage. Tear away strips act as a guide for taping knives while also protecting the center from drywall compound.

Hideaway Expansion Bead is a low profile expansion joint eliminates the exposed "V" that other joints leave. The soft center "W" flexes and bends as the structure expands and contracts.

Magic Corner's expansion control eliminates edge cracking on all off-angle walls, vaulted and cathedral ceilings. Use Magic Corner on any inside corner where movement may be an issue to prevent cracks.
