PRODUCT PRESENTATION

Envisor is an equipment screening system. The components are modular by design to allow for user-friendly installation. Each screen ships as a knockdown assembly.

The impact resistant ABS plastic is durable and weather resistant. Combined with the sturdy aluminum frame construction, the finished assembly is maintenance free and lightweight.

Each Envisor application is engineered to withstand windloads in excess of standard BOCA requirements.

The most notable of Envisor's design features is the patented install technique that requires no rooftop penetration. Installation is accomplished by attaching support elements directly to the HVAC and related equipment. This feature also properly considers each unit's airflow requirements, as well as any custom performance accessories.

Envisor's ABS plastic panels can vary in height, width, finish and color depending on their application, and the desired architectural aesthetics. The metal framing components are extruded or fabricated aluminum, and exposed parts are painted with a complimentary color. A three part architectural specification is available in this site, or in our company website. Our engineered drawings are generated in AutoCAD, with electronic conversions available for download.

Since each Envisor equipment screen is reviewed and evaluated specific to each application, allowances can be made for the customizing of an RTU with performance accessories like exhaust flues, economizers, power exhausts, smoke detectors, etc.

Envisor equipment screens are available in three styles:
Canted - sloped side panels and 45-degree corners
Vertical 45 - vertical side panels with 45-degree corners
Vertical 90 - vertical side panels with 90-degree corners

See below for an illustration of all three styles.

USES and APPLICATIONS

To select the appropriate screen for your RTU, contact CityScapes, Inc. Customer Service at 877-727-3367. CityScapes receives numerous inquiries about other types of rooftop accessories (i.e. exhaust hoods, fans, communications equipment etc.) and often can accommodate. Please call for more information.

PRODUCT in PLACE
CityScapes has engineered the Envisor product to have minimal impact on all rooftop equipment. CityScapes has worked with all the major equipment manufacturers in evaluating and adapting the product to meet their requirements. Most applications involve attaching only to the unit’s corners, utilizing similar fasteners to those that the unit cabinets incorporate. A rubber grommet is provided at point of penetration to ensure a proper seal.
The most obvious benefit Envisor presents is the lack of rooftop penetration. Membrane roof repairs can prove to be costly, but not where Envisor product is installed.
Service to the unit is simple. The panels utilize a double tracked bypass system for instant access. All of the panels can be removed in a matter of minutes by simply removing end cap retainers.

ASSEMBLY and INSTALLATION
Installation can be arranged through the general or mechanical contractor, with complete unit specific instructions provided through the manufacturer. CityScapes also has a network of installation contractors that can quote job specific equipment such as Carrier, Hussman, Lennox, Trane, etc.

Each Envisor screen arrives as "knock down" kits that will require some field assembly of the structural components, i.e. Corner Assemblies, Midspans and Extensions.

"Typical" Installation of a Canted Style Envisor Screen on a 25-ton RTU
The RTU depicted below has 4 Corner Assemblies, no Midspans, and 2 Extensions. All necessary components supplied by CityScapes. Approximate total man-hours to install this unit : 8 man hours

Photo Captions for Installation Sequence:
1. Install any necessary extensions directly to unit to accommodate for options such as economizers, air hoods, etc.
2. Attach corner assemblies directly to unit
3. Attach top rails to corner assemblies
4. Attach bottom rails to corner assemblies
5. Attach decorative top trim to top rail
6. Insert panels into rails
7. Attach end caps to corners
8. Position panels for desired aesthetics

Because RTU (Rooftop Units) very greatly in size, construction, and performance features, our engineers will evaluate the RTU's specific to a jobsite, to determine if we need to provide any additional components to accommodate these features. We have designed the Envisor products to be versatile enough that they can be field modified for adapting to most minor unforeseen field conditions.

Some additional variables that need to be considered once an Envisor shipment has arrived:
* Unloading boxed and crated product from the delivery truck/trailer.
* Relocating product on to a roof.
* Associating screen product with the appropriate RTU. (Some locations may have several units).
* Envisor screen kits do provide assembly hardware. (Screws and Bolts necessary to assemble a screen).
* Large RTU installs will require at least 2 men; all jobs should be evaluated in terms of "Man Hours".
* Cost to dispose of discarded packaging and trash from the jobsite.

If you have additional questions about installing Envisor equipment screens, or wish to have us quote or arrange an installation, please call 1-877-SCREENS.

MATERIALS and FINISHES

Panel Finishes
One of the unique design features of an Envisor equipment screen is the panel’s finish. Because it is a thermoformed plastic component, it allows us to utilize the same raw material to replicate different panel styles. CityScapes has “standard” molds for these two style panels.
Colors
Envisor’s nineteen standard colors are formulated to compliment most architectural applications. Additionally, CityScapes has the ability to match cross-referenced color specifications to a client’s unique color through a computerized system. Nominal charge for “custom” color set-up is $200.00.
