PRODUCT PRESENTATION
Englert Series 2000 1-3/4" High Structural Snap Lock Standing Seam is a variable width (12" - 18") integral panel design, with optional pencil ribs. The variable width feature allows you to specify whatever width works with your design parameters and exterior aesthetics (12", 15", 16" & 18" or any infinite width between 12" - 18").

The panel design secures the male interlock hem into the female leg continuously, lending structural characteristics when applied over purlins (Cees or Zees). The panel is secured to the purlins or substrate by clips allowing for unrestricted thermal movement. The clip design provides 1/4" ventilation clearance between the flat surface of the panel and the substrate. All fasteners are concealed. Optional sealant ensures greater watertightness. Installation is fast and simple. No labor intensive mechanical seaming. Just secure the male leg with clips and snap the panels in place.

Englert Series 2000 Structural Snap Lock Standing Seam Panel System can be easily adapted for snap-on-batten applications. With Englert Series 2000 Snap Lock Standing Seam Profile, a 2" high x 1-1/2" wide continuous batten can simply be snapped in place giving it the snap-on batten look.

MATERIALS & FINISHES
24 ga. Galvalume conforming to ASTM A-792, AZ-55, 50 KSI yield point or 22 ga. Galvalume, 50 KSI or .032" and .040" aluminum alloy 3105-H14, or equal with baked on PermaColor 2000 in Kynar 500®/Hylar 5000® in all standard colors or PermaMetallic 2000 metallic coatings in a smooth finish. (See manufacturer for Color Card and Coating & Finish Processes.)

FLASHING & FLAT STOCK
All exposed flashing to be field formed in the same gauge, finish, color and texture as the panels. Protective strippable film should be removed at the time of the installation.

USES & APPLICATIONS
As an integrated roofing system, Englert Series 2000 1-3/4" High Structural Snap Lock Panels require a pitch of 3"/12" or greater (check with manufacturer for other slopes). Panels may be installed over purlins or solid deck with 2 layers of 15# felt. Englert Series 2000 panels may also be installed over metal deck and rigid insulation, with 1 layer of 30# felt, using clips and bearing plates without any purlins. Do not install panels directly over chemically treated wood.

Extended use of the Englert Series 2000 Panel System can be made for mansard/equipment screen applications over subgirts or as fascia and siding/wall system.

Panels should be continuous from ridge to eave and with no end laps. Horizontal purlins, 2 x 4’s or plywood and other decking under the panel system should be true, plumb and straight. Any deflection may cause panels to oil can. Such oil canning is not a cause for product refusal.

UL-90 RATINGS
Englert Series 2000 Structural Snap Lock System (12" - 18" wide panels) meets UL-90 rating in 24 and 22 ga. when applied over 16 gauge purlins, 4' o.c., with UL-90 clips.

Englert Series 2000 Structural Snap Lock System (12" - 18" wide panels) meets UL-90 rating in 24 and 22 ga. when applied over 22 ga. metal deck. Rigid insulation and a layer of 30# felt secured by bearing plates at 4' o.c. Clips fastened to the deck through the insulation. Horizontal purlins are not required. Check with Englert for details.

ASTM E-330-84: Englert Series 2000 Panel System meets the test criteria in accordance with pleated air bag testing (modified ASTM E-330) methods and the pertinent requirements of the South Florida Building Code 1988 Edition Section 2309.2 (a) Table 23-C for roofing applications. ASTM E-331-84 water penetration. ASTM E-283-84 air infiltration.
