PRODUCT PRESENTATION
Englert Series 1000 1-1/2" High Snap Lock is a variable width (12"
to 20") integral seam design with optional pencil ribs. The clip
design secures the panel system to the substrate and allows for thermal
movement. The clip design also provides 1/4" ventilation clearance
between the flat surface of the panel and the substrate. All fasteners are
concealed. Clips are spaced at 18" to 24" o.c. depending on
panel width.
Installation is fast and simple. Snap lock panel systems require no
mechanical seaming or separate snap-on seam cap. Panels can be
transitioned from roof to fascia by notching and bending the panels at the
turns and putting in knee caps with pop rivets.
MATERIALS & FINISHES
24 ga. Galvalume conforming to ASTM A-792, AZ-55, 50 KSI .032"
aluminum alloy 3105-H-14, or equal with baked on PermaColor 2000 in Kynar
500®/Hylar 5000®
in all standard colors or PermaMetallic 2000 metallic coatings in a smooth
finish. (See manufacturer for Color Card and Coating & Finish
Processes.)
FLASHING & FLAT STOCK
All exposed flashing to be field formed in the same gauge, finish, color
and texture as the panels. Protective strippable film should be removed at
the time of the installation.
USES & APPLICATIONS
As an integrated roofing system, Series 1000 1-1/2" high snap lock
panels must be installed on 3"/12" minimum slope over solid deck
(at least 1/2" thick plywood or 22 ga. metal deck) with a 2 layer
underlayment of 15# felt or 1 layer of 30# felt. Do not install panels
directly over chemically treated wood.
UL-90 RATINGS
Englert Series 1000 Snap Lock System (12" to 20" wide panels)
meets UL-90 rating in 24 ga. and 22 ga. when applied over solid plywood
deck with 2 layers of 15# felt or 1 layer of 30# felt, with clips at 18"
o.c. Check with manufacturer for more information.
Englert Series 1000 Panel Snap Lock System was tested for simulated water
spray equal to 8.8"/hour rainfall, with wind velocities ranging from
50 to 100 mph, with no leakage, damage or failures.
