RETROFIT RE-LEVER^SM KITS
With Falcon’s mortise lock “Re-Lever^SM Kits” your customers now have a quick, cost-effective solution to meeting ADA requirements. Falcon’s innovative kits allow you to install one of our top quality levers without removing the locking unit. Now you can re-lever most manufacturers’ mortise knob locks — even the old fashioned cast versions — with a high quality Falcon lever in ten minutes or less.

Just follow the three easy steps shown in photo.

There are three offerings:

1. RW Series — This will consist of a wrought, Napa style escutcheon with four mounting posts and die cast levers. Because the levers are die cast, the trim may be used on UL listed openings. Levers are Avalon, Dane or Quantum. UL listed.

2. RZ Series (not illustrated) — This will consist of a cast or forged escutcheon with a die cast lever. Again, can be used on UL listed openings. Levers are Avalon, Dane or Quantum. UL listed.

3. RC Series (not illustrated) — This will consist of a cast or forged escutcheon and our regular levers. Levers are Avalon, Capri, Dane, Java, Kim, Quantum or Sutro. (Same escutcheon as RZ Series and with Falcon’s heavy duty M Series levers.) Cannot be used on UL listed openings.

A. Passage — No cylinder holes — outside or inside

B. Privacy — Emergency hole outside — T-turn inside

C. Office/Classroom/Storeroom — Cylinder hole outside — blank inside

D. Entry/Dormitory — Cylinder hole outside — T-turn inside

E. Store Door/Public Restroom/Asylum — Cylinder hole outside and inside.

FINISHES

All series are available in finishes 605, 606, 612, 613, 625 and 626.

RU SERIES GRADE 1 UNIT LOCK RETROFIT LEVER

SPECIFICATIONS

ATTACHMENT: Designed to retrofit existing unit locks manufactured by Falcon (Weiser), Corbin Russwin and Yale. Exceeds ANSI 1996 Grade 1 specifications and is UL/ULC listed. Incorporates Falcon's vandal resistant PressureRelease™ trim to prevent damage to internal mechanism. Installs with minimal rework to existing doors while preserving door and frame for cost effective project planning. Satisfies all ADA easy access requirements.

DOOR THICKNESS: 1-3/4" standard. Also available for 2" and 2-1/4" thick doors.

BACKSET: 2-3/4".

HANDING: Specify hand of door when ordering.

LATCHES: 1-3/4", 2-1/16", 2-5/8" and 2-11/16" available. To determine correct latch height measure existing latch cutout height.

STRIKES: 4-7/8" x 1-1/4" standard. Optional retrofit strikes available: 3-1/4", 4-13/16" and 4-5/32".

CYLINDERS: The RU Series accepts virtually all competitors' standard cylinders and interchangeable (removable) cores.
