A press box is literally the crowning piece to your stadium. And Southern Bleacher has the right credentials to create one ideally suited to your facility. A press box will add individuality and perform a variety of functions to your stadium. The press box can be designed into your stadium in the planning stage or added at a later date.
Southern Bleacher press boxes are constructed of the finest materials. The outside walls are a durable 26-guage, pre finished, steel-ribbed paneling. The paneling can be color coordinated with the rest of the stadium for a custom look. Each press box has steel exterior doors. Steel roofing is standard that offers the option of an observation or filming deck on top of the press box.
Our credentials really shine with small details that offer big benefits. All Southern Bleacher press boxes are elevated, so when spectators stand up, the announcer’s view is virtually unobstructed. This is only a small, yet valuable, detail that makes us the industry leader.
Inside, Southern Bleacher press boxes come standard with acoustical ceiling tiles, plastic laminated wood counter tops and fluorescent light fixtures. The walls are vinyl-coated gypsum panels and the floor is extruded aluminum. To accommodate sports writers, announcers and coaches, we can add privacy partitions and a filming/observation deck as well as phone jacks, heating/cooling units and security shutters. Another exclusive feature for Southern Bleacher is side to side as well as end viewing panels to farther enhance site lines.

Need an elevator? We can do that too? With our unique press box support system, additional items like an elevator (see Magnolia ISD) are readily available. Our press boxes are connected to the back of your stadium with a galvanized steel support. Columns and a concrete foundation independently support the press box so additions like an elevator may be added.
