 Babcock-Davis smoke vents provide an automatic roof-top vent system that releases
heat, smoke, and noxious fumes during a fire. Each hatch is designed to open
automatically when a fusible link inside the hatch reaches a certain temperature,
usually 165º F. In addition, smoke vents are spring-operated with shock
absorbers to slowly open against wind or snow load. Smoke vents can also be
equipped to open electrically.
Cover & Liner:
| 11-gauge aluminum cover is stiffened to withstand a live
load of 40 psf with a max deflection of 1/150 of the span. Cover withstands a
max wind uplift of 20 psf. Max degree of opening is 78º. 18-gauge aluminum

Optional: Double
