A) Composition
Dex-O-Tex Terracolor is a thin-section, trowel applied decorative flooring
designed to produce a jointless floor and base. Terracolor is installed
at 1/4" (6,33 mm) thickness. Terracolor consists of decorative aggregates
embedded in a colored epoxy matrix. it is finished with clear epoxy resins
which offer superior scratch resistance and withstand heavy abuse and impact.
Dex-O-Tex Terracolor may be applied over concrete, metal, or wood substrates
(consult Crossfield Products Corp. for detailed specifications). Terracolor
is available in the Dexcide series incorporating an antimicrobial biocide
which protects against growth of bacteria, fungi, algae, and actinomycetes.
Terracolor is often used in conjunction with Dex-O-Tex Wall-Glas to produce
an integrated and seamless floor and wall system.

Limitations
1. If sub-surface cracks move due to continued thermal flexing or building
settlement, Terracolor may reflect those cracks to some degree.
2. Water vapor transmission upwards through on-ground concrete slabs
may result in loosening of epoxy floors or improper curing of epoxy materials.

A) Surface Preparation
Surface shall be clean, dry, and free from laitance, dirt, grease,
oil, bond inhibition compounds, curing agents or other foreign matter.
B) Primer
Apply by brush, roller or trowel
C) Basecoat
Trowel apply Terracolor mix to a nominal thickness of 1/4". Compact
matrix material into a tight, smooth, even finish.
D) Sealer
Apply multiple seal coats to provide a smooth even impervious finish.
If
slip resistance is required, provide desired surface texture by incorporating
a slip resistant aggregate.
Note: A waterproof or crack isolation membrane may be installed
prior to application of basecoat.

Regular scrubbing with ordinary detergents and water flush. Cycles to
be determined by type and degree of usage. After period of sustained abrasive
wear, floor may require refinishing of final finish.
