HORIZONTAL APARTMENT MAILBOXES USPS APPROVED 900 SERIES
SECURITY’s 900 Series horizontal mailboxes come complete with trim as an integral part of the construction for a finished appearance and ease of installation. The 900 series postal boxes are built to U. S. Postal Service requirements.

• Front or rear loading models. Doors available in various sizes.
• All aluminum materials.
• Colors Available: Gold, bronze, silver polyester powder coating, or clear anodized.
• Locks: 5 pin cam locks with 3 keys. (1500 changes available)
• Numbers engraved on doors or optional plastic and aluminum tabs.
• Completely assembled.
• Optional: Snap on trim instead of integral trim.
• Precision fitted doors.
• Front Loading: The Postal access door shall be allowed to open a minimum of 90 degrees with no obstruction.
• Rear Loading: The access room for the rear load boxes shall have at least 3 feet of unobstructed work space from the rear of the units to the wall. Optional rear cover.

Cut hole in wall according to rough opening dimensions. Securely fasten unit to the 2 x 4 reinforcement studs, left side first, followed by right side.

To replace back panel, hook top of panel of Mailbox assembly, and engage slide lock into latch bracket.

Formula to determine the total rough opening for side-by-side installations:

Example: 3 units, 900 Series., 5 x 5 Front Load:

1. Add width (C) overall dimensions from chart, 36 1/16 " + 36 1/16 " + 36 1/16 " = 108 3/16 "
2. Subtract 1 1/2" from total above., 108 3/16 " – 1 1/2 " = 106 11/16 "

Side mount or top mount. Each compartment holds seven names. Product #HD Available in silver, bronze, gold and clear anodized.

Finish and Color: Exterior surfaces of doors and extruded trim shall be a baked on polyester powder coated paint finish or clear anodized for maximum protection and appearance.

All SECURITY MANUFACTURING products are guaranteed in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years. SECURITY MANUFACTURING'S obligations under this warranty is expressly limited to repair or replacement of any unit or component part which in SECURITY MANUFACTURING's; judgement meet this warranty. All products must be returned to SECURITY MANUFACTURING at the customer's expense with prior authorization from SECURITY MANUFACTURING. SECURITY MANUFACTURING'S obligation shall in no event include repair of damage resulting from transportation, neglect or misuse or for any consequential damage. Normal wear and tear or slight color change are not covered by this warranty. Products not manufactured by SECURITY MANUFACTURING carries its own manufacturer warranty. Locks are under warranty for one year. Manufacturer reserves the right to modify product specifications without notice.

Some styles of boxes or accessories are used for private use and may therefore need local Postmaster approval for U.S.P.S. delivery.
