XDS Series of Levelers 3000 & 2000

The Blue Giant XDS Extra Dock Safety System, is the only 3-in-1 system that prevent forklift roll-off, overhead door damage, and unscheduled truck departures at the loading dock. The XDS system features our flagship hydraulic door with lights communication package, and I-beam dock leveler. Prevent costly physical injury with the Blue Giant Extra Dock Safety System.

Blue Genius^™ Touch Control station with large stop button for added Safety. Keypad operated guard override with light warning signal for ground-level hand bombing applications. Vehicle restraint interlock to prevent release of restraint (NEW TL85 – XDS3000, StrongArm^™ SVR303 – XDS4000) until dock returned to stored position. Keypad operated restraint override that allows leveler to be used in instances where no rear impact guard is present (outside lights remain in flashing red mode, inside flash red and yellow). Dock leveler interlock to prevent cycle of dock leveler until vehicle restraint arm is in position.

Safety maintenance strut on dock leveler. Full operating range toe guards with safety striping on dock leveler for maximum operator safety. Hydraulic (velocity fuse) fall-safe system to prevent platform free-fall. UL/CSA approved motor and electrical components. Dual purpose lip keepers for both cross traffic support and automatic night locks to prevent building access through the leveler. Bumpers to protect the building wall.

The raised guard is designed to prevent forklift roll-off when the overhead door is open and no truck is present and to protect overhead doors and tracks from regular impact damage. Hydraulically activated, high tensile checker plate safety barrier, towering over 7" (178 mm) above the deck. Stops up to 10,000 lb (4,545 kg) rolling loads at 4 mph (6.4 kmh).

Available in 30,000 lb (13,636 kg) to 80,000 lb (36,364 kg) capacities. Heavy-duty I-beam deck construction and exclusive 4" (102 mm) maintained deck tilt prolongs deck life and prevents forklift damage. Fully hydraulic operation with 1 HP self-contained TEFC maintenance-free power pack designed to provide years of trouble-free use (available in standard single band three phase voltages).

Auto return to cross traffic position from above and below level. 16" (406 mm) long lip (lip is tapered on 7' (2,134 mm) wide models). Pivot points fitted with pre-lubricated bushings. Terminal block provision for overhead door interlock. Two laminated 4.5" x 14" x 10" (114 mm x 356 mm x 254 mm) Bumpers.
