Krieger's bullet resistant doors are designed to protect personnel and property from direct arm fire. Custom engineered and tested to meet all levels available per U.L.752 and NIJ 0801.01.

Krieger's forced entry doors are constructed from sheets of ballistic steel and reinforced with interior steel beams. Tested and certified to meet SD-STD-01.01 Rev. G. requirements, these doors are high power rifle resistant (7.62 mm and 5.56 mm) and capable for withstanding a fifteen-minute assault.

Krieger also, offers bullet and ricochet, frames, windows, pass through trays, transfer boxes, and voice ports.

Fire Labels and Positive Pressure

Up to 3 Hours: UL 10C, UBC 7-2, UBC 7-4
250°, 450°, 650° temperature rise, up to 3 hours UL 10C
Smoke Labels: Up to 20 minutes

Bullet Door Construction

Formed, heavy gauge, steel face sheets constructed around a custom engineered, steel rib core with interior armor plate as required to protect against specified threat.

Configuration

Bullet resistant doors are available in flush design or with vision lights and as single or pairs of hinged doors, including single or bi-parting horizontal sliding doors. All assemblies are available manual or power operated.

Performance Combinations

KriegerPlate bullet resistant doors and windows can be manufactured for multiple performance requirements including acoustical, blast resistance, thermal protection, radio frequency shielding or any combination thereof.

Frame Configuration

Krieger offers standard frame designs and can engineer special frame profiles to complement wall construction and architectural style

Sizes

Standard and custom sizes available. No limits.

Glass

Calculated and certified glass or glass/polycarbonate glazing materials are available. (If glazing is provided by others it must bear a visible UL 752 mark)

Wall Panels

Bullet resistant Fiberglass wall panels are available and have been tested in accordance with UL 752 for levels 1-4 (levels 5-8 are pending).

Hardware

Operating hardware is available in all standard builders' finishes. Mortise or cylindrical locksets, exit devices, and security hardware are the basic options.

Finishes

Wood veneer bullet resistant doors may be finish-sanded, primed, sealed with conversion synthetic sealer or completely pre-finished prior to shipping.

Stainless steel finishes can be embossed, patterned, etched, bead blasted and colored. Bronze, brass, copper, and plastic laminate finishes are also available.
