SwingSmart DC is HySecurity's pad-mounted swing gate operator for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. SwingSmart saves installers money and time because of its ease of installation, adjustable linkage arm, programmable open and close speeds, self-synchronization technology for bi-parting gates, intuitive Smart DC Controller, and overall durability of SwingSmart parts. Ultimate reliability is maintained in the coldest, hottest, most humid, driest, saltiest, high cycle, windy, and brutal environments.

DC Battery Backup
SwingSmart comes standard with two 8 Amp Hour batteries to provide approximately 300 cycles after AC power loss (depending on gate weight, length, and accessory power loads). Most other "battery backup" gate operators, simply open or close the gate one last time and die. SwingSmart DC is an uninterruptible power supply system, fully functional for hundreds of cycles, and possibly days after power loss.

Quick and Easy Installation
From the extra large conduit cutout to the chassis carrying handles for easy and accurate placement onto a concrete pad, HySecurity engineers didn't take any shortcuts when designing SwingSmart. Installers save time with the easy adjustment linkage arm, forgiving swivel connection between arm and gate bracket, full 32 character LCD and tact buttons on Smart DC Controller for operator programming, and self-synchronizing gates technology.

Self-Synchronizing Gates
Synchronizing bi-parting gates is one of the most costly and time consuming installation procedures. With other swing gate operators, uneven wear of motors and gate hardware will de-synchronize the gates over time.  SwingSmart's self-synchronizing technology automatically synchronizes bi-parting gates in the first few cycles of operation. Best of all, the gates continue to self-synchronize throughout the operator life.

Vehicle Hit Protection
Gate hits from impatient drivers are unavoidable and often result in expensive gate operator labor and equipment repair. SwingSmart minimizes expensive repairs with SwingSmart's unique swing arm coupling (patent pending). Expensive components such as the gearbox, motor, and chassis are far less likely to sustain gate hit damage.

Smart DC Controller
HySecurity's newest controller board, Smart DC Controller, has all features of HySecurity's Smart Touch Controller with the addition of a 32 character LCD screen for easy troubleshooting and programming. The intelligent Smart DC Controller offers 2 programmable relays, RS232, RS485 and USB connection, leaf delay, lightning strike and power surge protection, and real time or backlog reporting of gate malfunction or security breach conditions.

Large, Heavy Gates
SwingSmart was specifically engineered to operate large, heavy ornamental or industrial gates effortlessly. SwingSmart operates gates weighing up to 1,300 lbs. or gates up to 20 feet wide per leaf. Gate capacities:
1,300 lb (590 kg) for a 12 ft. (3.65 m) gate
800 lb (363 kg) for a 16 ft. (4.87 m) gate
600 lb (272 kg) for a 20 ft. (6.1 m) gate

HySecurity supports these needs by offering the solar ready SwingSmart DCS. Simply incorporate the appropriately sized solar panels for number of gate cycles per day, gate size/weight and sun availability, to charge SwingSmart DCS's two 50 Amp Hour batteries for continuous, solar powered, reliable operation.
