Finlandia's Exclusive Sauna Doors Are Not Ordinary. They Are Works Of Art.

STANDARD DOORS
Our popular Sauna doors are not just ordinary Sauna doors! They are manufactured with solid vertical grain Douglas Fir rails (to minimize warping) and hermetically sealed double glass which has been tempered for safety. They are available with clear glass (standard in our FPC and FPF Saunas). Also available with vertical grain California Redwood rails.

EXCLUSIVE OPTION
Our special doors have glass which has been custom designed and etched by an artist. When ordering this exclusive option, you have your choice of the positive image (glass is clear and the design is frosted), or the negative image (glass is entirely frosted except for the design). If you prefer privacy, you will want to choose the negative image.

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS
When ordering individual doors (separate from room), please specify model;

FGD
Does not include jam and hardware.

FGD-R
Prehung with right hinge.

FGD-L
Prehung with left hinge.

The FGD-R and FGD-L both come complete with jamb, threshold, three butt hinges, ball catch (for closure), and two wooden door pulls. Remember that Sauna doors must open out; and hinge placement is determined by standing outside the Sauna room while facing the doorway. Therefore, if a door swings out to the right, order out FGD-R with right hinge. If it swings out to the left, order FGD-L.

NOTE: Finlandia glass doors are 2' 0" x 6' 8" with a standard 4 3/4" jamb (extra charge for jambs over 5 1/2"). And, 3' 0" x 6' 8" ADA handicapped doors are available.

Why does Finlandia stand alone in manufacturing Sauna doors with vertical grain "old growth" Oregon Douglas Fir rails (styles)? Doors with rails that are made with short, mixed species of woods that are glued and finger jointed, and hidden with fir veneer skins, are imitations and a poor substitute for solid one piece rails. In a Sauna environment — hot with changing humidity — the veneer skins can peel and lift. How can you tell the difference? When you check the bottom and top of our doors, you will not see veneer! We continue to exceed the standard in the Sauna industry!
