Fire Barrier Expansion Joint Systems

Wabo^®FireFlex is approved to accommodate +/- 50% parallel lateral shear and multi-directional seismic movement. Additionally, Wabo^®FireFlex is cycle tested to exceed ASTM E-1399 and is listed with Underwriters Laboratories for Class II and III movement classifications for standard and seismic lateral shear.

Wabo^®FlameGuard is a fire barrier system that incorporates encapsulated high temperature fire blankets conveniently field installed with pre-engineered galvanized edge retainers eliminating the need for fire caulk. Additionally, Wabo^®FlameGuard is cycle tested to meet ASTM E-1399 and fire tested to meet ASTM E-119, NFPA-251, UBC 7-1, UL263 and CAN4-S101-M82.

Wabo^®FlameGuard II is a factory assembled fire barrier system that has been designed to provide the required fire endurance rating, minimize passage of smoke and accommodate dynamic movement without stress or degradation to its components. It has been designed and tested to meet the most current building codes and test standards.

Wabo^®ThermoShield is a fire barrier system with over 25 years of proven use. Recommended for joint openings up to 3 inches that meet the requirements of ASTM E-119, NFPA-251, UBC 7-1, UL263 and CAN4-S101-M82.
