Viatera^® Quartz Surfaces by LG Hausys are a smart and stylish non-porous material that's more hygienic and stain-resistant than other stone countertop materials such as granite. And unlike granite, Viatera^® Quartz Surfaces do not require sealants in order to maintain their non-porous characteristics and functionality. LG Hausys offers Viatera^® in over 50 color selections.

Viatera^® Quartz Surfaces are manufactured in Italy and composed of 93% natural quartz and technologically advanced polymers. Available in a wide array of options based on depth of color and dimension, the design flexibility ranges from honed to gloss finishes available in homogenous patterns filled with varying size quartz gemstone particulates.

Viatera^® Quartz Surfaces must be fabricated and installed by a certified fabricator professional. Viatera^® is not a seamless product; seams will be visible in an application that requires more than one sheet.

Viatera^® is made primarily of natural quartz with is an impervious crystalline mineral that is particularly resistant to absorption and heat. When adhered with the polymer resins, Viatera^® becomes a material that is non-porous and extremely stain resistant, qualities that are unique to quartz materials.

Natural quartz is the fourth hardest mineral on earth, behind only gemstones topaz, sapphire, and diamond. This quality makes Viatera^® resistant to scratching.

Standard finishes for Viatera^® include a factory applied polished finish or a honed finish depending on color. Waxes and sealers should be avoided, as these products will not absorb into the material and will only cause build up on the surface. Honed finishes will show more signs of daily use and requires frequent cleaning to maintain its unique look. A variety of standard and custom edge treatments are available.

Non-porous, stain-resistant and anti-microbial, our Stone Surfaces offer exceptional performance in horizontal or vertical applications and will not support bacteria or fungal growth. As a result, they're NSF approved for use in food service, ideal for use in medical facilities, schools, hospitality, and other businesses where long-lasting durability, hygiene and design flexibility are essential.

Non-porous and easy to clean, Viatera^® Quartz Surfaces will not promote the growth of bacteria, making them ideal for unlimited applications including: kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, table tops, floors, and shelving. Viatera^® Quartz Surfaces can also be used vertically in shower walls, backsplash designs, and wall cladding.
