The ALX system stands up to heavy traffic on balconies, corridors, stairs, and interior floors. This durable waterproofing system protects surfaces from the elements.

Apply more than one coat per day with the ALX system; an acrylic cement mixture that translates to faster drying times. The ALX system can also be applied early in the building process, allowing other trades to complete painting and stucco prior to final finishes.

By combining our sheet membrane, also known as sealguard, with 2.5 galvanized metal lath and the highest polymer content for strength and flexibility, cracking and leaking is virtually eliminated. ALX offers strength without added weight; the finished product weighs approximately 2.5 pounds per square foot.

ALX is perfect for applications from the common to the decorative. A multitude of finishes and textures satisfies discriminating contractors, architects, and homeowners. ALX can be stapled through most old deck systems for easy rehabilitation of problem surfaces. ALX works as a waterproofing underlayment for concrete, stone and tile. When sealed, MACoat offers a durable waterproof coating specified for use on balconies, corridors, stairs, plazas, and landings. Westcoat MACoat delivers superior durability and tough performance in hotels, condominiums, apartments, office buildings, and residential homes.

Designed for use on elevated concrete and many plywood walking decks, MACoat weighs less than one pound per square foot.

A combination of our fiberlath, a proprietary acrylic waterproofing resin, a specially formulated cement, and sealed with an acrylic topcoat, MACoat provides long-lasting protection and chemical resistance.

Easily rehabilitate problem surfaces. In many cases, MACoat can be applied over existing deck systems, saving time and labor. MACoat works equally well on new surfaces and comes in a wide variety of colors and textures.
