• Regardless of door position, McKINNEY type CC electric hinges permit passage of a constant flow of current from jamb to door for a diversity of control functions. Uses include operation of electric locks, door closers, and other devices requiring power to the door

• 4 Amp, 24 volts maximum each circuit — low voltage, 12 or 24 VDC

• Full mortise sizes: 4-1/2" x 4" (114 x 102), 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" (114 x 114), 5" x 4-1/2" (127 x 114), 5" x 5" (127 x 127) standard and heavy weight,

• brass, bronze, steel, and stainless steel

• Four, six, or eight wires available on steel, brass, or bronze (standard weight and heavy weight)

• Four, six, or eight wires available on heavy weight stainless (standard weight stainless four-wire only)

• 28 gauge wire

• Wires are contained within the hinge — invisible and tamperproof

NOTE: Two knuckle style is handed. If hinge is combined with CS option or anchor hinge, it becomes handed.

ElectroLynx Hinge

• Suffix QC2A, QC4, QC6, QC8, QC12

• For low voltage (48 volt max.) .25 amp AC or DC 28 Gauge multi-strand wires are used. A pigtail is provided for connection to the source wiring.

• Full mortise sizes: 4-1/2" x 4" (114 x 102), 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" (114 x 114), 5" x 4-1/2" (127 x 114), 5" x 5" (127 x 127) brass, bronze, and steel.

• All sizes can be furnished with one switch on two knuckle hinges and one or two switches Available up to 12 wires. An 8 position connector is used for QC2, QC4, QC6 and QC8 wire hinges. An 8 position and a 4 position connector is used for QC12 wire hinges.

• Available with most full mortise standard and heavy weight bearing hinges. Consult the factory or individual full-line catalog pages for options. A
  QC2A wire hinge is available for power on, power off applications.

• Hinges are supplied with 6" pigtail as standard. Extra lengths are available at additional cost. Wires are coordinated to work with other ASSA ABLOY Companies electro-mechanical hardware.
