SR 5500 ABS TRAFFIC DOOR Applications The SR 5500 ABS Traffic Door is designed for pedestrian and cart traffic with restaurant and retail applications in mind. Limitations Not recommended where wash down, temperature, dust or noise control is required. Features & Advantages The SR 5500 is constructed with two sheets of textured 1/8" thick ABS adhered together to form a 1/4" overall panel thickness with a back spine reinforced with black HDP and stainless steel channel. The SR 5500 operates on the CMI Low Rise "V" cam gravity hinging system complete with bottom hinge pin assembly. Doors are custom built to your own specific requirements and can be ordered up to 48" x 96" for singles and pairs up to 96" x 96". Standard vision panels are 9" x 14" durable, clear 1/4” acrylic set in black rubber molding and centered at 60" from the finish floor. Other configurations and sizes are available upon request. Options & Colors Optional spring bumpers, impact plates, partial edge gasketing, lower hinge guards and double pane vision panels are available. All add years to the life of your door without compromising fit or finish. The SR 5500 is available in your choice of 13 standard colors. Installation & Maintenance The SR 5500 is conveniently packaged ready to install in existing or factory supplied frames. Easy-to-follow instructions along with thread-forming fasteners are included in every package. Periodic cleaning with a strong industrial soap or detergent and regular lubrication of moving parts is recommended. Warranty The SR 5500 carries a three-year hinge system warranty and a one-year panel warranty against manufacturer's defects. All warranties stipulate correct installation and sizing requirements.
