Bora-Care® with Mold-Care®
When you specify your termite treatment, specify Bora-Care. But you can also protect your structures from mold with the EPA-registered combination of Bora-Care with Mold-Care.

Bora-Care itself is an EPA-registered termiticide, insecticide and fungicide (see Bora-Care's detailed product listing for more information). Mold-Care is used along with Bora-Care for the additional control of mold and decay fungi.

The active ingredient in Mold-Care is a specific disinfectant like the one used to sanitize restaurants and hospitals. This disinfectant has been formulated by Nisus Corporation to be used with Bora-Care for even greater performance.

Mold and decay fungi can be serious problems for builders and homeowners. For one thing, fungal by-products and spores can pose potential health risks. But decay fungi can also literally destroy the materials on which they grow. In fact, just a 2% loss of weight in a piece of wood can reduce the strength of that wood by as much as 50%, seriously compromising its structural integrity. But wood treated with Bora-Care with Mold-Care will resist mold and decay fungi growth, giving the wood time to dry out and ensuring that wood decay never has a chance to start.

The application of Bora-Care with Mold-Care not only replaces fumigation for the control of drywood termites, but also adds the bonus of mold control for complete whole house protection. During the dried-in phase of construction in a whole house treatment, certified pest control companies apply Bora-Care with Mold-Care to all structural wood, providing residual protection for the entire structure drywood termites, carpenter ants, wood boring beetles, decay fungi and mold.
