Perforated Stair Tread
With a variety of patterns and hole sizes available, SlipNOT® perforated treads combine the benefits of both plate and grating. The military, steel mills, manufacturing companies and utility companies bring safety to their workers by using,- SlipNOT® perforated treads.

  • Tolerance: Mill, or + or – 1/8"
  • Advantages: Perforated Treads combine the benefits of both plate and grating.  It is ideal in areas where frequent use or exposure to slippery environments increases the risk of accidents and potential public access liability problems.  Perforated Treads are suitable for new construction or retrofitting over existing grating areas.
  • Slip Resistant Standards: Perforated stair treads exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA.  SlipNOT® 's coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. 
  • Fabrication: Treads can be formed to specifications with nosing or formed to a channel. Treads are manufactured to specifications for thickness and depth. 
  • Application: Treads can be welded directly onto current treads or stringers or can be bolted in place.

  • Durability: Treads coated with SlipNOT® have a bond strength of 2000 psi.
  • Finishes: Aluminum perforated stair treads can be ordered with a mill finish or painted.

Stainless Steel Perforated Treads:
