New! EnkaRetain & Drain is a new Enkadrain product consisting of a 3000R Series Enkadrain with a super absorbent, water retention fabric bonded to one side. The 100% post consumer recycled nonwoven polyester fabric is designed to hold 10 to 12 times its weight in water helping plant roots stay hydrated longer. The recycled content of this unique composite make it an interesting and attractive product that contributes to LEED program points.

Enkadrain 3000R Series made from post-industrial recycled polypropylene contributes to LEED points. The unique, three-dimensional core channels water away and reduces incidental moisture collecting on the structure. A durable, geotexile fabric is available on one or two sides of the core to retain soil particles and protect the waterproofing membrane from puncture. Enkadrain’s proven and predictable high flow rates and exceptional compression resistance make it suitable for substantial soil and construction vehicle loads. Enkadrain has been used for over 25 years under extensive and intensive green roofs around the world.


Enkamat 7010 Root Reinforcement Matrix permanently anchors plant roots on sloped roofs or in high wind conditions. When the roots grow they become entwined within the 95% open matrix, making an extremely stable cover. Enkamat’s tough root reinforcing system anchors vegetation and provides a holding cavity for the growing medium. This product is the most effective root reinforcement and green roof plant stabilization mat available. This product may also be used for pre-vegetated plant mats for green roofs, when used with a separate geotextile fabric.
