New from Colbond Building Products is environmentally friendly Enkadrain 3000R Series. These subsurface drainage composites consist of a post-industrial, recycled polypropylene core and a geocomposite fabric bonded to one or two sides. Designed to relieve hydrostatic pressure from soils abutting below grade structures, Enkadrain has proven and predictable flow rates unlike sand and gravel drains. Enkadrain offers many benefits that hard, plastic drains do not.
- Enkadrain is manufactured by a process which eliminates roll memory and causes it to lay flat
- easier to backfill
- multi-directional flow does not trap water behind hard, plastic sheet
- flows more water than the soil can ever deliver
- fabric intrusion into the core will not restrict flow
- safer for installers to handle
- dimple drains crack around the cusps in extreme cold weather – which can potentially puncture the waterproofing membrane
- will not damage or cut waterproofing
- 3" fabric overlap allows cores to butt up to each other
- fabric flaps to outside for easier seaming
- faster to install
- conformable to any construction obstacle
- easily cut with industrial knife or scissors
Horizontal Applications - Plaza decks, Planters, Beneath Slabs, Underground Parking, Roof Gardens
Vertical Applications - Foundation Walls, Retaining Walls, Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), Lagging Walls, Blind Forms, Wood Structures
(replaces Enkadrain 9010, 9120 and 9611)
A medium-duty drainage product that consists of a post-industrial recycled polypropylene drainage core of fused, entangled filaments and a geocomposite fabric bonded to one side.It is used as a means of relieving hydrostatic pressure from backfills abutting below-grade structures, planters and plaza decks.
(replaces Enkadrain 9615)
A heavy-duty drainage product that consists of a post-industrial recycled polypropylene drainage core of fused, entangled filaments and a geocomposite fabric bonded to one side. It is used as a means of relieving hydrostatic pressure from backfills abutting below-grade structures, planters and plaza decks.
(replaces Enkadrain 9811 and 9812)
This drainage composite consists of a post-industrial recycled polypropylene drainage core of fused, entangled filaments and a geocomposite fabric bonded to both sides. It is used as a means of relieving hydrostatic pressure from backfills abutting below-grade structures, plaza decks and in lagging applications for shotcrete foundations and pedestals. The addition of a heavy-duty Colback® product as a protection fabric eliminates the need for protection board and stops penetration and migration of a bitumen membrane.
This drainage product consists of a nylon core of fused, entangled filaments and a geotextile fabric bonded to one side. The product is used as a means of relieving hydrostatic pressure from backfills abutting below grade structures, planters, and for lateral drainage of roof decks.
A 6 wide strip drain product consisting of a 1 thick nylon core of fused, entangled filaments completely encased in a nonwoven, heat-bonded geotextile fabric. It eliminates the need for a perforated drainage pipe and the associated ordeal of installing a larger diameter drain with surrounding aggregate.
A 12 wide strip drain product consisting of a 1 thick nylon core of fused, entangled filaments completely encased in a nonwoven, heat-bonded geotextile fabric. It eliminates the need for a perforated drainage pipe and the associated ordeal of installing a larger diameter drain with surrounding aggregate.
Enkadrain was the first subsurface drainage composite introduced to the market over 25 years ago. It has proven performance and is backed by a 20 year warranty on three complete systems.
Were the thin line between comfort and catastrophe.™
