HARLEQUIN ROLL OUT PORTABLE AND PERMANENT VINYL DANCE FLOOR SURFACES

Harlequin has been manufacturing vinyl dance floors for over 25 years. Our research and development department has answered the call of new and innovative dance disciplines such as hip-hop and lyrical. The result is seven specially formulated vinyl surfaces for use on the client’s sub-floor or with one of Harlequin’s sub-floor choices.

Allegro is the thickest dance floor surface in the world, significantly reducing fatigue and impact injury. Allegro is a safe choice for dance schools and public education.

Cascade is the ultimate heavy-duty dance surface. Its silky smooth finish is perfectly suited for ballet, modern, tap and jazz.

Fiesta, with its elegant design protected by a hard-wearing surface, is perfect for all dance in multiple-use studios or halls where public access is likely in street footwear. Fiesta cannot be used portably. Permanent installation required.

Reversible, as its name suggests is a 2-sided roll out vinyl floor. Reversible can be used for touring and for in-studio all purpose dancing. Reversible cannot be permanently installed.

Studio is a special padded floor for dance, studio and stage use. Its lightweight closed cell foam backing provides extra cushioning. Widely used for most types of dance.

Studio “B” is similar in weight and appearance to Studio, but has a special wear coat surface. This makes Studio “B” the ideal floor for modern and barefoot dancing.

Tempo is particularly suited to contemporary and barefoot dance. Thicker than Studio it gives extra protection against hard sub-floors and has a soil-resistant surface.

SPECIFICATIONS

Composition
All Harlequin vinyl dance floors are composed of pvc vinyl material. Padded floors have closed cell foam. Some floors contain a mineral fibre interply for dimensional stability.

Dimensions
Cascade, Reversible, Fiesta and Tempo each come in 2 meter (6’, 6”) widths. In most cases, roll lengths go to 30 meters (98’, 5”). Fiesta only comes in 23 meter (75’, 4”) lengths.

Allegro, Studio, and Studio “B” are manufactured in 1.5 meter (4’, 11") widths and come in lengths up to 30 meters (98’, 5”). Due to its weight, Allegro comes in lengths up to 25 meters (82’).
