EPICORE®

Dovetail shaped ribs set this deck section apart from ordinary profiles.

WIDECK

EPIC WIDECK® LONG-SPAN SYSTEMS improvements are the first for long-span metal deck systems since this type of construction was introduced in the 1950’s.

SUPER WIDECK

EPIC METALS SUPER WIDECK™ provides the first steel roof and floor system to open the truss or girder spacing in excess of 35 feet.

EPICORE® COMPOSITE FLOOR SYSTEM

Some of the advantages created by the dovetail shaped ribs of Epicore Composite Floor Deck include:

• AN INTEGRAL HANGING SYSTEM
of great flexibility (continuous slots 6.125 inches on center) and load capacity (up to 1000 lbs. per hanger).

• GREAT STRUCTURAL STRENGTH
that permits higher allowable superimposed loads and longer clear spans compared to ordinary composite floor slabs.

• A PLANK-LIKE BOTTOM SURFACE
that provides an attractive "linear" appearance without the use of a suspended ceiling.

Fire Ratings (unprotected). For any given slab depth, U.L. fire resistance ratings for EPICORE deck exceed those for any 1-1/2, 2 or 3-inch deck. See U.L. Design Numbers D904 and D917.
