Perimeter Systems Cornice Components
The Designer Cornice System is a new innovative way to design a cornice using proven materials, with expert craftsmanship, and all within budget. Unlike wood or synthetic cornices, these metal cornice profiles can be finished in high performance Kynar® paint coatings or anodized in rich bronze tones. With 1-1/2" & 3" radius profiles, along with fascia covers, box trims & soffit trims, you can virtually design any type of cornice imaginable. From simple moldings, to complex multitiered cornices, our sculptured profiles will do the job. Features Accessories

Box Trims BOX TRIMS are commonly used to create a freeze board effect at the lower portion of a cornice assembly. They can also be stacked over one another (see Cornice Design #4, J-covers could have been substituted with Box Trims), or used intermittently as with Cornice Design #7. Joint treatment consist of a 3/8" expansion reveal with a 6" concealed (back-up) splice plate. Miters are commonly ordered with legs to align with other cornice components. Box Trims are fitted over dimensional lumber or plywood sheathing, the width of "Order to fit Framing" depends on the type of substrate the Box Trim is to fit. The upper edge of the Box Trim is factory punched for fastening with 1-1/2" ring shank aluminum or stainless steel nails. RECEIVER MODEL features a slip connection to allow other trims to mate with it. SOFFIT MODEL features a lower return leg which can be used as a fastening flange or to conceal fasteners of adjacent trims or soffit panels. The soffit model can also be ordered with a receiver slip connection. J-Cover Trims J-COVERS are commonly used to create a freeze board effect at the lower portion of a cornice assembly.
