WEATHER SHIELD® SLIDING PATIO DOORS

Weather Shield Sliding patio doors continue to raise the bar for beauty and style with an abundance of options and accessories. The doors feature dual tandem rollers so panels open smoothly for maximum ventilation and easy cleaning. Color or wood choices are available that can provide the right look to match any architectural style.

Custom Wood Interiors Collection®

Weather Shield's exclusive Custom Wood Interiors Collection® offers eight wood species that allow you to match the fine cabinetry, furniture, floor and trim within one room or throughout your home.

Structural corner keys injected with silicone connect the top frame corners for superior durability and resistance to air and water infiltration.

A two-point, all-metal "C-shaped" lockset is standard in eight popular finishes. An optional foot-activated security lock, key lock and corrosion-resistant seacoast hardware package is also available.

Large 1-1/2" dual tandem rollers on the bottom of each operating panel ride smoothly on a stainless steel-capped pultruded rail in the door's sill. To keep the door panels opening and closing smoothly, roller adjustment is easily accomplished through the bottom rail.

An optional 2" sill riser dam on some door units provides a DP-50 rating for stringent building codes

Standard double-strength glass offers improved structural integrity. Glazing options include Insul Low E2 with Argon/Krypton gases, Insul Low E2 with Argon gas, Insul Low E2 or Insul. Specialty glass options include Tempered, Gray, Bronze and Obscure.

An advanced weather stripping system and seal virtually eliminates air and water infiltration.

Accentials Distinctive Colors & Finishes

With 55 standard and designer colors, plus virtually any custom color under the sun, Weather Shield's exclusive Accentials™ Distinctive Colors & Finishes program makes it easy to add a personal touch to the windows and doors of your home. Or, you can select from eight anodized aluminum exterior finishes that provide a durable, sleek appearance.

Window exteriors feature all-wood or low-maintenance heavy-duty extruded aluminum cladding that resists denting, dimpling, fading and chalking far better than thinner roll-formed aluminum exteriors found on many other brands of windows. Plus, a rigid integral nailing fin provides greater structural stability and easier installation.

Door panel stiles are constructed of Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) for exceptional strength and durability. Stile and rail joists are connected with heavy-duty, 3/4" diameter hardwood dowels.
