Bentogrout and Akwaseal Remedial Waterproofing
Product Presentation
CETCO offers two of the best products for remedial waterproofing to
existing structures: Bentogrout and Akwaseal. These products provide
unique solutions to tough remedial waterproofing problems for
architectural, civil, and residential applications. Bentogrout is a
high-solids bentonite grout that is injected to the positive side of the
wall without excavating. Akwaseal is a flexible hydrophobic urethane grout
that seals water infiltration through concrete cracks.
Applications
Bentogrout and Akwaseal are excellent remedial waterproofing of existing
below-grade structures. Both products typically do not require any
excavation, thus greatly reducing the cost of waterproofing repair work.
Applications include below-grade foundation walls, under floor slabs,
vaults, tunnels, and split-slab construction on parking decks, plaza
decks, and balconies. Bentogrout is typically injected into the soils
adjacent to the foundation to cover the entire structural surface.
Akwaseal is typically injected only into the crack to stop the water
infiltration. Bentogrout can also be used as an environmental remediation
product.
