Energy & Performance Monitoring

The Aurora UPC DDC not only provides the system with integrated building automation but also allows for real-time energy monitoring. Measure the complete power usage and performance of the entire unit to see how your building performs and how you can reduce consumption.

The Aurora UPC DDC refrigerant monitoring allows the measurement of discharge and suction pressures, suction and liquid line temperatures, superheat and subcooling for refrigerant diagnostics without breaking into the system.

Making Placement Easy

Sometimes the hardest part of installing a system is getting it where it needs to be. With Versatec 500, that’s never a problem. All of our smaller units (up to 15 tons) fit through standard doors. And our 20 through 30-ton sizes are take-apart cabinets, so they can easily make it through entryways and onto freight elevators.

Premium Efficiency in a Compact Cabinet

The Versatec 500 features single-speed as well as dual capacity compressor options for better temperature and humidity control. Housed in one of the most compact cabinets in the industry, it also boasts an optimum level of efficiency-up to 21.6 EER and 6.4 COP (ISO/AHRI 13256-1 WLHP).

Reliability is Key

Long component life and reliability are vital in commercial applications. That's why we feature parts like true interlaced all-aluminum air coil. In addition to offering better performance, these air coils also eliminate the chance of formicary corrosion and increase the product’s lifespan.

Versatec 500 Brushless DC Motor

Variable speed adjusts according to the occupancy load and provides high electrical efficiency, while requiring less maintenance and operating at quieter levels.

Versatec 500 Footprint

Our goal with the Versatec 500 was to make it as compact as possible. That saves customers usable and rentable square footage in their building. Our new design scales down previous dimensions by as much as 48%, reducing the footprint by six square feet and ten square feet respectively.

Waterside Economizer Option

Working independently or in parallel with standard operation, it offers an alternative or additional way to economically cool the space. No need for field installed relays and Aqua-Stat. The Aurora Controls provide economizer operation without any special thermostat or BAS commands. Extends life of the compressors. Meets state and local regulations for waterside economizers.

Lead Lag Compressor Technology

Run time equalization extendsthe life of the compressor in 12-30 ton units.

Coated Coil

AlumiSeal coated aluminum air coil option is available for even more protection and to meet code requirements.

Multi-Density Compressor Blanket & Sound Kit

The super quiet sound package is standard while an optional Sound Kit is available for units installed in areas that need even more noise dampening.
