Sarnatherm CG tapered is a sloped, rigid closed cell polyisocyanurate insulation board with coated glass facers, and is suitable for use in new construction and re-roofing with Sarnafil® or Sikaplan® membranes.

Storage ConditionsFactory-applied packaging is intended only for protection during transit. When stored outdoors or on the job site, the insulation should be stacked on pallets at least 4" (102 mm) above ground level and completely covered with a weatherproof covering such as a tarpaulin. The temporary factory-applied packaging should be slit or removed to prevent accumulation of condensation. Refer to PIMA Technical Bulletin 109: Storage and Handling Recommendations for Polyiso Roof Insulation.

Application Steps
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONSSarnatherm CG tapered is installed by a Sika Authorized Applicator. Sarnatherm CG tapered may be installed by mechanical-attachment to the roof deck with Sarnafasteners and Sarnaplates, by attachment with Sarnacol Board Adhesive, or by hot asphalt depending on project requirements and specifications. Roof insulation which has become wet or damaged should be removed and replaced with solid, dry insulation.
