CO-250 Rights on Card Lock
The CO-250 offline lock enables an unlimited number of users with up to 4,000 audits. Rights are stored on the magnetic stripe credential and carried to the door by user to streamline new enrollments. Functional capability is dependent on access control software provider.
The CO Series offers ideal solutions for customers seeking the added security and convenience of electronic access control without the cost or complexity of a fully networked system.
CO-250 is a unique offline lock solution in which the credential, not the lock, carries access rights on a magnetic stripe card. This allows dynamic rights management on the card without reprogramming each lock in the facility, yet the lock still maintains an audit trail of events at the door. This makes it a smart and economical solution for campus environments with a large number of users and offline openings.
The CO-250 utilizes a handheld device (HHD) in conjunction with Alliance Member access control software for programming updates. The HHD allows you to configure the locks, update programming and retrieve audits or lock diagnostics. Lock and unlock schedules, as well as time zones and holidays can be programmed through software provider solution for added security and convenience.
