Acousti-Mat® 3 HP

For challenging floors, like those found in warehouse-to-multifamily conversion projects, only the best will do. Acousti-Mat® 3 HP delivers top quality noise reduction by combining the proven sound reduction of Acousti-Mat's floating floor technology with an added layer of isolation. The HP layer of acoustical fabric is laminated to the bottom of a core of fused entangled filaments, which is attached to a non-woven, water-resistant fabric. Acousti-Mat 3 HP is then topped with a high-strength Maxxon Underlayment.

Acousti-Mat 3 HP increases the IIC levels of the floor/ceiling assembly by up to 22 points over wood frame construction and up to 30 in concrete construction. At a height of 0.75" and requiring only a 1-1/2" reinforced topping, Acousti-Mat 3 HP provides ultimate sound control without significantly increasing the overall floor height. It is considered a "green" building material, containing 40% recycled content. The entire system is covered by one warranty and is also GREENGUARD Gold (formerly Children & Schools) Certified.

LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. The LEED point system is about "contribution"; no single product can add "points", but single products contribute to meeting overall percentage criteria as defined by LEED.
