Citadel Super Heavy Duty Slide Gate

The Citadel super heavy duty series of industrial slide gates are designed for openings greater than 30’. The Citadel super heavy duty slide gates use two of our single-extrusion enclosed aluminum track systems making these gates a double track aluminum cantilever gate. Based on your opening width and special conditions, these gates may be designed with additional upper horizontal supports that not only provide additional structural rigidity but a wider profile from track to track. This wider profile is engineered to provide greater resistance to bowing under wind conditions.

All of our Citadel super heavy duty slide gates utilize a stainless steel cable truss system. Careful consideration is given to the design of this truss system relative to the size of the openings to provide maximum support in supporting the weight of the gate in the full closed or open position. Our Citadel super heavy duty series of industrial cantilever gates will also use a much wider bottom horizontal support to provide strength under high wind conditions. Sizing of this bottom support is done on a per opening basis to assure the best possible outcome. All our Citadel super heavy duty series industrial slide gates use our 10 wheel heavy-duty truck assemblies. Our trucks utilize sealed self-lubricating bearings. All of our Citadel super heavy duty series slide gates meet the industry UL325 and ASTM 2200 standards.
