Overview

Floor and Wall Stops

Ives floor and wall stops come in various designs for many commercial and residential applications.

With a full line of wall bumpers, wall holders, kick down holders and hinge pin stops, Ives products are designed to ensure that doors will not slam into the wall. These accessories are typically found on doors without an overhead stop or holder.

Features & Benefits

  • The stops prevent door, wall and frame damage, and stopping the door from opening too far
  • Designed in brass, bronze or aluminum construction and a variety of finish options
  • Kick down or semi-automatic holders are designed to hold the door open
  • Specific product series offer concealed tamper-proof mounting

Designs

  • Floor stops: Floor stops are mounted to the floor and stop the door from opening too far and hitting the wall or another door.
  • Floor stops and holders: Floor stops and holders are mounted to the floor and stop the door from opening too far and hitting the wall or another door, but also can hold the door open with a hook that manually is connected to the door.
  • Wall bumpers/stops: Wall bumpers and stops are mounted to the wall and stop the door from opening too far and hitting the wall or another door.
  • Wall holders: Wall holders are mounted to the wall and stop the door from opening too far and hitting the wall, but also can hold the door open with a hook that manually is connected from the door to the wall holder.
  • Kick down holder: Kick down holders are mounted to the door face and can either be in the up position to let the door swing freely or the down position to hold the door open at different angles
  • Roller bumpers: Roller bumpers are typically mounted on a door to prevent two doors from slamming into each other. The roller bumper stops the second door from opening and rolls the second door to a completely open or closed position.
  • Residential door stops: Residential door stops are mounted at the base of the door or wall to stop from opening too far and hitting the wall or another door.
  • Hinge pin stops: Hinge pin stops are mounted on the hinge pin to stop the door from opening too far and hitting the wall or another door.
  • Silencers: Silencers are installed on metal frames featuring pneumatic design that, once installed, form an air pocket to absorb shock and reduce the noise of the door closing.
