SunGuard SNX 51/23 and SNX 62/27 Glass

Triple-silver technology. The best in high-performance glass.

The newest product coming to Guardian’s SuperNeutral® Series has an attractive neutral/blue reflected color and a low 0.23 solar heat gain coefficient to maximize potential energy savings.

SunGuard SNX 51/23 blocks solar heat and looks impressive while saving on energy costs and helping projects qualify for LEED credits. SNX 51/23 is available on six float-glass substrates, including tints to offer lower reflectance, reduced glare and improved solar control: clear, UltraWhite low-iron, CrystalGray®, gray, green and TwilightGreen®.

At a glance:

  • 51% visible light transmission - Highest in its class
  • 0.23 solar heat gain coefficient
  • Meets the most stringent energy codes in North America
  • Helps projects qualify for LEED credits

SunGuard SNX 62/27

This entry in Guardian’s SuperNeutral® Series has our highest light-to-solar-gain ratio (LSG) ever. SNX 62/27 delivers 62% visible light transmission and a low 0.27 solar heat gain coefficient, for an impressive LSG ratio of 2.30.

This performance means SNX 62/27 lets in lots of natural light but still blocks solar heat, saving on energy costs and helping projects qualify for LEED credits. SNX 62/27 is available on six float-glass substrates: clear, UltraWhite low-iron, CrystalGray®, gray, green and TwilightGreen®.

A perfect balance:

  • 62% visible light transmission
  • 0.27 solar heat gain coefficient
  • Reduce energy costs
  • Neutral reflected and transmitted color
