VERSATILE: Dealing with a space constraint? Advanc-R® VIP is thin, rigid, and nonstructural to minimize your roofing system's profile and maximize building space. It's excellent for re-roofing commercial buildings and the construction of new commercial building roofs. Plus, the panels' exacting square edges ensure a tighter fit than other thermal building materials.

SUPER INSULATING: The unique, absorbent, and microporous glass fiber core of Advanc-R® VIP is sealed in a gas-tight outer envelope to ensure the product's super-insulating performance. Advanc-R® VIP offers a thermal conductivity of 0.002 W/mk and an R-value of 66/inch.

DURABLE: This is Panasonic's longest life VIP that integrates 18+ years of Panasonic technology. Advanc-R® VIP is Class A Fire and Smoke rated and highly-resistant to water and mold. Ensure your crew and clients know that a vacuum insulated panel's strength is in its sealed aluminum laminate bag, so take care to avoid puncturing or damaging this bag during handling and installation. If the outer bag is damaged, the product will lose its vacuum. It should never be stepped on, and fasteners, screws, nails, etc., should never be used - only approved Elevate adhesives. In re-roofing situations, watch out for remnants from the old roofing system that might protrude above the deck.

When installing Advanc-R® Vacuum Insulated Panels on a commercial roof, the VIP panels must be installed between protective layers of ISOGARD HD to meet warranty guidelines. Also, only fully adhered membranes can be used.

The full system buildup consists of Elevate ISOGARD HD cover board mechanically fastened to the deck. The VIP panels fully adhere to that layer using one of Elevate's foam insulation adhesives. Then, a top layer of ISOGARD HD is fully adhered using one of Elevate insulation adhesives. Seams should be staggered between layers and extra care must be taken to avoid puncturing or damaging the VIP panels.
