Product Presentation

Metal is used to accentuate architectural details on building entrances, sign bands, equipment screens and other focal points. The versatility in colors, shapes and textures that is offered with quality finished metals allows for unlimited choices in design. The building’s components, such as roofing, soffit and wall sections, can be either color coordinated or matched. Since metal is durable and requires minimum maintenance, it outperforms most other products.

When a curved panel is desired for a dramatic effect, or a circular roof necessitates a tapered panel, ATAS International, Inc. offers several options.

ARC-METAFOR

Curved to customer specifications from the straight METAFOR panel, ARC-METAFOR is an ideal for a column cover, equipment screen, mansard, walkway or other building detail that would be enhanced by a curved panel.

By curving the METAFOR panel, the strength of the ARC-METAFOR panel is enhanced. As a structural panel, the system can be installed directly to open framing thus saving time and money by eliminating the need for sub-sheathing. ARC-METAFOR can be curved in a convex mode. The minimum radius for the convex radius is 5'. The maximum radius is transportation limitations. Lengths are custom cut.

For detailed product specifications, please refer to our ARC-METAFOR product profile on this CD.

PC Snap-On Seam

PC STANDING SEAM panel can be used for concave or convex applications. A snap-on standing seam curved system provides beauty, durability and versatility for mansards and fascia. Interior and exterior uses include walls, ceilings, equipment screens and roofs. It is recommended that these panels be installed over a suitable substrate. The PC STANDING SEAM is also used for tapered systems; however, exact measurements are required.

The standard widths of the pan are 12-5/8" and 15-1/4", but may vary in width from 4" to 20". The length of the panel is to customer specifications, subject to transportation limitation. Panels are fastened together with anchor clips, and the 1" high snap-on seam conceals the fasteners. Color of the pans and seams can be interchanged for a dramatic effect.

For detailed product specifications, please refer to our PC Snap-On Seam product profile on this CD.

Tapered DUTCH Seam Panel

DUTCH SEAM standing seam panels can be tapered for placement on circular or conical roof. Tapered DUTCH SEAM panels are available in the following widths: MRT110 (6" min. to 10" max.), MRT150 (10-1/4" min. to 14" max.), and MRT194 (14-1/4" min. to 18" max.). The maximum length for all tapered panels is 20’. Panels are available in the same materials, gauges and finishes as the regular DUTCH SEAM panels. (Please refer to the DUTCH SEAM product profile.)

For tapered placement, DUTCH SEAM must be ordered without stiffening ribs. Both ends may have to be field cut to meet conditions. Special flat anchor clips are used for installation, and the panel interlock is modified.

The DUTCH SEAM standing seam panel can be formed as a convex panel. The convex DUTCH SEAM is structural and can be installed over open framing, which makes it ideal for covered walkways.
