STI-9601/02/04/05/09/10 – Smoke Detector Damage Stoppers^®

STI borrowed from nature's master builder, the spider, to create a patented web of protection from vandalism and accidental damage for smoke detectors. Six different models are ideal for areas where abuse to detectors is severe. Durable, web-like design uses 9-gauge steel wire with corrosion resistant polyester coating. Models available for smoke detectors without conduit are the STI-9601 for low profile detectors, the STI-9609 for high profile units and the STI-9604 for smaller size detectors. Allowing for conduit spacing are the STI-9610 (high profile), STI-9602 (low profile) and STI-9605 for smaller size smoke detectors.

With their 9-gauge steel wire construction and polyester corrosion resistant coating, they are extremely effective in reducing detector malfunctions as well as lowering maintenance costs. They are highly recommended for all areas where vandalism or accidental damage is prevalent. Each unit may be wall or corner mounted with anchors and screws provided. The five sizes fit virtually all current motion detectors.

The STI Smoke Beam Guard helps protect the vital sensor units of Models DS240 and DS241 projected beam type smoke detectors marketed by Detection Systems for use in large areas such as gymnasiums and auditoriums. Available to protect both transmitter and receiver, these units feature super tough construction of 9-gauge, coated, corrosion resistant steel wire. These models can also be adapted for use in other applications. Their use can be highly cost effective.

The use of STI Beam Smoke Guards is highly cost effective in many applications where these expensive detectors are installed. Sizes available to fit virtually all beam style detectors available today.

Clock/Bell Damage Stopper^®

It is time to protect your clocks, bells and other instruments if they are subjected to vandalism and accidental damage. These super tough wire guards are built of 9-gauge steel wire with a corrosion resistant polyester coating. Sizes are available for almost any device – custom sizes for large orders. Installation is easy as is removal to service the protected unit. They may be ceiling, wall or corner mounted and their wide spacing allows easy viewing of clocks and so forth. Also, they may be painted prior to being installed to match the decor. Hardware for tamper-resistant mounting is available.

Exit Sign Damage Stopper^®

It is an excellent way to protect wall-mounted, lighted, exit signs against both vandalism and accidentally caused damage. This Stopper is constructed of 9-gauge steel wire coated with corrosion resistant polyester. Two sizes are available. The smaller version measures 13.5 inches (343 mm) long by 10.5 inches (267 mm) wide by 2.75 inches (70 mm) deep, and the larger version measures 20.5 inches (520mm) long by 15.5 inches (394mm) wide by 6 inches (152mm) deep. Both are designed to accommodate a wide range of exit signs available today. Installation is quick and easy with the screws and anchors provided. Also, tamper resistant screws and a matching bit are available.
