ARDEX K-500
Self-Leveling Concrete Topping

ARDEX K-500 is a self-leveling, no-troweling cementitious topping for resurfacing and leveling indoor concrete such as warehouse floors, utility areas, hallways, etc.

ARDEX K-500 mixes with water only and produces a pourable or pumpable liquid cement compound that seeks its own level and creates a flat and hard surface.

ARDEX K-500 installs from 1/4” to 1-1/2” in one operation; up to 5” with the addition of proper aggregate. ARDEX-500 will not spall and hardens fast—it can be walked on after 3 hours, coated the next day, and driven on after 48 hours.

RANGE OF APPLICATION:
ARDEX K-500 can be installed indoors over standard absorbent concrete subfloors to provide a flat and smooth floor.

ARDEX K-500 is not a resurfacing topping for industrial floors or chemical environments requiring customized industrial toppings.

ARDEX SD-T
Self-Drying, Self-Leveling Concrete Topping

DESCRIPTION: ARDEX SD-T is a self-drying, self-leveling, Portland cement-based topping for fast-track resurfacing, smoothing, or leveling of indoor concrete. ARDEX SD-T installs from 1/4” to 2” in one operation, and up to 5” with the addition of appropriate aggregate. ARDEX SD-T will not spall, and hardens fast. Due to its unique self-drying formulation, ARDEX SD-T can be coated with a water-borne concrete sealer just 2 hours after installation and opened to traffic as soon as the sealer has fully dried.

RANGE OF APPLICATION: ARDEX SD-T can be installed indoors over concrete subfloors to provide a flat and smooth surface for warehouses, utility rooms light manufacturing, retail areas, TV studios and all areas requiring a hard, smooth, flat concrete surface.

Note: ARDEX SD-T should not be used in areas of constant water exposure nor in areas where pre-existing moisture conditions may jeopardize the performance of the topping.

ARDEX SD-T is a natural product. As with any cementitious material, variations in color can occur as a function of jobsite conditions. If a monolithic appearance is required, it is recommended that an opaque sealer be used.

Always install an adequate number of properly located test areas, to include the final coating, to determine the suitability of the system for its intended use and traffic. Always contact and rely upon the coating manufacturer for specific application instructions and product guidelines.
