For transit, smoker or waiting shelter applications, Par-Kut portable, pre-assembled steel shelters are delivered user ready to the slab prepared site. Single unit shelters are of standard Par-Kut construction - welded galvanized steel with top hung sliding doors, galvanized steel roof, clear tempered safety glass, tread plate floors and UL certified electric.
Vandal resistant heat and lights are standard. Air conditioning, ventilation systems, ash trays and special graphics are optional. Benches are available in wood, metal or plastic. Gable, hip, vaulted, or mansard roofs may be specified as well as custom exterior wall treatments to compliment existing architecture.
Although any size shelter is available, 5' x 14' is standard. With or without doors all Par-Kut steel shelters are ADA compliant.
This Unique 5' x 8' passenger waiting shelter is being used at an airport parking lot. Pre-assembled and delivered user ready after installed to prepared slab. This single unit welded galvanized steel unit sports a "Barrel" style 18Ga galvanized steel roof with a 2" overhang.
Equipped with: vandal resistant fluorescent light with photo cell control, ceiling mounted fan forced heater with tamper resistant thermostat, weather tight circuit breaker panel and 6' recycled plastic bench (Cedar color).
This upscale 6' x 9' shelter with a 6" overhang is installed on a train platform to shelter waiting passengers. Accented with "Presidential" features: standing seam gable roof, 1" colonial style window mullions, crown molding, steel raised rib walls, and a base trim.
For a touch of class, the bench is genuine hardwood. Seat and backrest include polyurethane finish. Shelter includes a 50 watt H.P.S. light. The dual color scheme allows the unit to blend with surrounding architecture.
This is one of our most popular shelters. A painted single unit welded galvanized steel unit measuring 5' x 14'. Wide open 360 degree full height glazing is set in anodized aluminum extrusions for maximum vision. 40" wide top hung sliding aluminum doors (with optional barrel bolt) protect the passengers from nature's elements while waiting for their rides.
Equipped with a complete electrical package including lights, heaters, and circuit breaker panel. Accessories used are all vandal or temperature resistant. Units are ordered with or without the optional bench. Other popular options include increased fascia height and factory installed vinyl signage.
Shown is the STS-20 modular 4' x 12' shelter being used for passengers waiting for the shuttle service, at an Airport parking lot. Consisting of Clear anodized aluminum frame and kick panels, white translucent roof panels, 6" overhang and 6" fascia, clear tempered safety glazing and 12' clear anodized aluminum bench. Shelter is anchored to concrete pad (or cement pylons) with expansion anchors installed through the included anchor clips.
Optional accessories include commercial aluminum swing-type doors with closures (locks & hardware), upgraded to colored anodized aluminum (check for current selections), tinted glass, 70 watt HPS light with photo cell control, fan forced heater with push button control, and optional barrel style roof.
Smoking shelter designed to architecturally blend with surroundings. Shelter stands 8' x 16' with a 6" overhang and 6" Fascia. All aluminum pieces have been upgraded to a very popular bronze anodized coloring (other selections available). Standard tempered safety glazing upgraded to bronze tint. Glass tinting offers a dual purpose - reduces glare from sun and offers additional privacy for smokers. Access to the shelter made easy through the panel openings, which can be positioned where desired due to panelized system.

Pay-On-Foot enclosures can be large or small. This particular unit was designed to protect the POF (pay-on-foot) machine and allow enough room for one patron to also be protected from the harsh elements while completing transactions.
This 3-sided unit measures 4' deep x 4' wide. The overall height is 7' 6. Roof has an 18" fascia on all sides, offering plenty of room for graphics if desired. Coverage of the overhang is 6" on sides and back with a larger 12" overhang covering the front. Built-in rain gutter channels water to desired location.
Clear anodized aluminum frame provides a nice clean look for years of service. Typically, the economical modular aluminum STS20 system has a 36" aluminum kick panel on the lower section of each wall. This model was modified to have full height ¼” clear Lexan panels.
