ARCHITECTUAL SHAPES

The Wagner Companies has an extensive stock list of architectural shapes – bars, angles, channels, zees, tees and tubing. Wagner’s architectural shapes have been selected for applications in ornamental and miscellaneous metal work. Additional sizes and alloys may be obtained.

All items are stocked with a mill finish, except as noted. Contact Wagner regarding special finishes.

Steel sections are hot rolled carbon steel C1010, merchant quality.

Stainless Steel tubing and pipe are produced from Type 304 stainless steel, ornamental grade.

Aluminum extrusions are produced from Alloy 6063-T52, unless noted. Alloy 6063 is suitable for anodizing. Please note that welding is not recommended for aluminum that is to be anodized. Welding will change the temper of the material and cause it to anodize inconsistently. Consult your anodizer before specifying.

Bronze tubing, bars and shapes are extruded from alloy C38500, architectural bronze. Round pipe is drawn, alloy C23000, red brass. Brass tubing is alloy C27000, yellow brass. Metal sheet is alloy C28000, muntz metal. Architectural bronze, red brass and muntz metal are considered color matches for architectural applications.

Shipping – architectural shapes are sold in stock lengths as noted in our catalog and on our website and therefore will ship by common carrier. Upon request, Wagner will cut material to length for shipment by United Parcel Service. Cutting charges will apply. All cut materials are not returnable.
