TREADS & LANDINGS American Stair fabricates six different tread/landing styles: the familiar metal pans for poured concrete, checkerplate, bar grating, and our exclusive FasTrack®, Endura, and ReadyStep® treads. Galvanizing for exterior use is available when specified. Any of our treads & landings can be specified with any of our stringer designs. 
FasTrack® American Stair introduced this design in 1989 and today it ranks at the top of the product line for both economy and safety. Formed steel with a permanently bonded non-slip grit surface, it has a moderate acoustical rating and is an exceptional value. For exterior use, specify FasTrack® with self-draining slot. 
Endura For projects that are not as acoustically demanding, specify our slip-resistant Endura. This economical tread also eliminates the need to pour concrete into metal pans. 
ReadyStep® This premium slip resistant tread has the solid feel of a filled metal pan. ReadyStep® boasts exceptional wear and is an excellent choice if the project's stairwells need to be quiet. The ReadyStep® tread shown here is our ReadyStep SafetyTread®.
American Stair's FasTrack®, Endura, and ReadyStep® treads have all been tested for ADA compliance, smoke & flame spread, and sound absorbing properties. Copies of test results are available upon request. 
Options Factory-applied photo luminescent tape is available as an option. FasTrack®, Endura, and ReadyStep® treads can be specified as SafetyTread™ for those instances where code requires an even higher level of safety during emergencies. After loss of artificial light, the SafetyTread™ nose-lines will continue to illuminate for up to 12 hours, thus lighting the way for safe emergency exiting. American Stair SafetyTread™ meets the New York City law #26 adopted in June of 2004. 
Protective Covers Protect your design during construction and make final clean-up easier by protecting treads and landings after installation. Specify our factory-attached, yet simple to remove, exterior grade OSB covers. This option is only available on ReadyStep®, Endura, FasTrack® and SafetyTread™. 
Warranty American Stair Corporation, Inc. warrants all its products, as shipped from any American Stair factory, to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the building. Contact American Stair for additional limitations.
