The Horner All-Wood FR System is a true all wood sports flooring system, specially designed to provide a level of impact force reduction that exceeds the stringent DIN 18032, Part 2 performance requirements. With its superb shock absorption characteristics, this system not only reduces leg fatigue, providing a safe system, it exhibits outstanding playing characteristics.
The unique criss-cross subfloor design minimizes the systems reaction to changes in moisture conditions. This is in conjunction with a cushion that buffers the effect of minor slab irregularities provides the industry with one of the most uniform sports floors available.
Horner has traditionally directed its research and development programs toward improving and fine tuning sports flooring systems that have been time proven. The Horner All-Wood FR System exemplifies this commitment and is one of the safest and most functional systems on the market today. The FR-l version also incorporates specially designed restraints to increase floor stability.
Horner MultiSport offers an excellent low-profile, economical northern hard maple multi-purpose sport floor. The system is designed to allow for greater participant safety - the mass and friction/traction properties provide a surface that maximizes playing performance with reduced injury levels. Whether installed as a new floor or as a retrofit to cover existing synthetics, MultiSport will function well for all sports activities, from basketball to ballet. MultiSport can even be used to cover existing synthetic floors, taking advantage of their properties as an underlayment.
The Multipurpose Channel Systems are restrained floating sleeper subfloor systems that exhibit excellent shock absorption and ball rebound characteristics.
The combination of 16 gauge steel/plywood sleepers provides leveling capabilities, making the system ideal for application over uneven substrate.
The Horner SAFE™ Sleeper Subfloor Systems are an upgraded version of the economical SAFE™ Sleeper System. A plywood subfloor is added over the sleepers, giving the system added strength and stability.
The SAFE™ Sleepers are available in two varieties. In addition to the standard regular sleeper a laminated version is also available. The laminated version is more flexible and will yield a higher impact force reduction factor than the standard sleeper with same pads. The choice of sleeper and pad properties provides the opportunity to fine tune and customize a sports floor.
The Horner Thrust-A-Cushion Sleeper Subfloor System is an economical shock-absorbing, fatigue-reducing flooring system ideal for active sports. The system features a choice of 25/32" or 33/32" northern hard maple flooring, nailed to a subfloor of 15/32" sheathing plywood and 2" x 3" Woodlife-treated cushioned sleepers. The plywood layer provides added stability and strength.
The Horner Thrust-A-Cushion Panel System is an economical, low-profile system that provides shock-absorbing, fatigue-reducing flooring ideal for active sports. The system consists of northern hard maple mounted on a subfloor of two layers of 15/32" plywood. The bottom plywood layer is cushioned with rubber Thrust-A-Cushion pads, and the two layers together provide uniform resiliency and maximum quietness and strength.
