What is SecureAll™ Bullet Resistant Fiberglass

SecureAll™ Bullet Resistant Fiberglass is a composite fiberglass / resin panel specifically designed to resist penetrating forces created by ballistic threats. This bullet resistant armor typically come in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets and closely resembles plywood or wallboard. A typical 4 foot by 8 foot sheet of UL Level 3 armor material weighs approximately 160 lbs and is approximately 0.5" thick.

SecureAll™ Bullet Resistant Fiberglass is uniquely engineered to stop ballistic threats through a process called delamination. A very exact manufacturing process produces a precise ratio of fiberglass and resin in each panel. This combination allows the delamination effect to occur as the bullet penetrates into the panel. The force of the bullet causes the various layers of fiberglass to separate from each other (delaminate), thus trapping the bullet in a "fiberglass net" or web. This delamination effect also gives SecureAll™ excellent anti-spalling qualities.

Pound for pound, SecureAll™ Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Armor offers greater bullet resistant protection than steel. SecureAll™ armor can be cut with a diamond edged saw blade and will not rust or produce condensation. This armor is easily installed and is typically covered with drywall to produce an "invisible" bullet resistant barrier.
Great care in design, engineering and testing have gone into this unique manufacturing process to assure the highest degree of protection and the most cost effective ballistic resistance available.
