Forged Steel Fittings
Steel Pipe Fittings add an important dimension to the industry-leading line of flow control products already offered by Anvil. Anvil is a espected name and its products are well-regarded for high quality and consistency.

Materials:
The Anvil Forged Carbon Steel Fittings consist of forgings, bars, seamless pipe or tubes which conform to the requirements for melting process, chemical composition and mechanical properties of ASTM A105.

Design Basis:
ASME B16.11 — Forged fittings, socket welding and threaded.

Dimensions:
ASME B16.11, unless otherwise noted. All catalog dimensions are in inches.

Threads:
ASME 1.20.1

Steel Pipe Nipples
Anvil nipples are manufactured in accordance with ASTM Specifications A733 – Welded and seamless carbon steel nipples (A53 C/W and 106 SMLS). Where possible, each nipple is identified with Anvil Trademark, Seamless or Welded indication, Pipe Schedule and Material designation. Anvil can supply special nipples pertaining to lengths, threading and finishes.

Anvil^® Steel Pipe  Nipples & Steel Pipe Couplings
Anvil offers a variety of Steel Pipe Nipples and Steel Pipe Couplings for the fire protection industry. Materials include black and hotdipped galvanized finishes. Anvil^® manufactures a wide range of stock pipe nipples in 1⁄8" diameter through 8" diameter close through 72" inch length in half-inch increments. We also offer standard nipple packs ranging from one each (close to 6") and standard sixpacks which offer multiple counts of each. Cartons are packed with handles for easy carrying.

Steel Pipe Couplings are manufactured in accordance with ASTM specification A865. Straight-tapped couplings range in size from 1⁄8" NPS through 2" NPS, while 21⁄2" NPS and larger are taper tapped.

AnvilL^® Cast Iron & Malleable Iron Threaded Fittings
Anvil offers the most complete line of Cast Iron and Malleable Iron Threaded Fittings in the industry. Our versatile range of fittings is designed to provide dependable, fire-rated service. Cast Iron Threaded Fittings are manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.4. They are UL listed and FM Approved and are available in sizes 1⁄4" NPS through 12" NPS. Cast Iron Flanged Fittings are manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.1 and are available in Class 125 and Class 250.

Malleable Iron Fittings are available in a number of classes, including Class 150 (standard weight) and Class 300 XS/XH (with extra-heavy banded pattern fittings). In both classes, all Elbows and Tees 3⁄8" and larger are 100% gas tested at a minimum of 100 psi (6.9 bar).
