Circum stainless steel railing systems are designed to comply
with all applicable building codes, technical standards and safety requirements
in North America.
Single or multi-dwelling units, office and industrial buildings, schools,
health care and assisted living facilities and all other public buildings.
Manufactured from high quality stainless steel that is corrosion resistant,
for interior and exterior applications and low maintenance.
Stainless steel: AISI 303/304 surface preparation #6 (240 grain) flat
finish.
Nylon Cover Caps:Ultramid nylon PA6 by HEWI nylon in yellow, red or
dark blue.
Infill Panels: Perforated stainless steel, as above.
System can accommodate infill panels of tempered glass or other materials
(supplied by HDI).
Wood top rail: (optional); natural beech, steamed and kiln dried (wood
options are available).
The Circum railing system is furnished with multi-line horizontal
rods or infill panels of perforated stainless steel. Threaded and
expansion connections are used for connections. Panel clamps include retainer
bolts with protective gasket for added security. Curved rails and other
custom designs can be accomodated by consulting HDI technical staff.
Circum railing systems are manufactured with the latest technology,
designed with the aid of computers and individually inspected before shipment.
The systems are manufactured at HDI headquarters in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
and shipped in pre-assembled sections to maximize the ease of installation.
Installation is available for either union or non-union projects.
Made of stainless steel tube 1-9/16" (40 mm) diameter, 3/32" (2 mm)
thick. Rail tubes, elbows, supports and fastening bases made of stainless
steel material AISI 303, surface ground and polished (grain 240) #6 flat
finish; easy to assemble dowel connections with exposed screws. Maximum
distance between supports 66-15/16" (1700 mm). Assembly without welded
joints. Handrails available with elbow returns or straight capped
ends.
Handrail made from stainless steel tube 1-9/16" (40mm) diameter, 3/32"
(2mm) thick, surface ground and polished #6 finish (grain 240). Posts are
made of stainless steel tubes 48.3/3mm, material No. 1.4301, surface ground
and polished #6 finish (grain 240) with panel holders of stainless steel,
surface to match posts, prepared for clamps to hold 3/8" or ½" infill
panels. Infill rails available with 3-9 horizontal (or parallel) solid
bars made of "stainless steel – round bar steel D = 10 mm, fixed in clamping
joints.
Handrail sections of 1-9/16" (40mm), beech, steamed and chamber-dried,
ground and waxed, or with lacquer finish (other wood available on request).
Bends and fasteners made of stainless steel, material No. 1.4301, surface
ground and polished #6 finish (grain 240). Round bars and stainless steel
parts connected with one another by an insertion system. Posts made of
stainless steel 48.3 / 3mm, material No. 1.4301, surface ground and polished
(grain 240) with panel holders of stainless steel, surface to match posts,
prepared (Surface or grain variations in wood are possible - wood rails
for indoor use only).
