Sandell®’s Mortar Web
Sandell® is now offering a straight cut mortar collection device that allows moisture to exit cavity wall construction with ease. The simple design of Sandell®’s Mortar Web suspends mortar droppings and redirects moisture to the exterior of the structure. Bypassing mortar collection all together, moisture is able to dissipate correctly and avoid pooling within the wall. The straight cut and recycled heavy fiber weave makes this product more effective than the alternative pea gravel application. Best of all, Sandell®’s Mortar Web is environmentally friendly being completely composed of all recycled materials.

Sandell®’s Mortar Web has a 1” width, is 10” high and is available in 50 ft. rolls. It can be used in all flashing regions, especially in cavity wall construction, composite wall construction, and single wythe block and veneer applications. Sandell®’s Mortar Web will remain in tact for the existence of the structure and will not aid in the growth of mold, mildew or fungus.

Sandell®’s Blok-Flash
Sandell®’s Blok-Flash is an embeddable flashing unit used in exterior single wythe CMU construction. Created from a high density polyethylene material, this product consists of a .0625” thick flashing pan, attached to a concaved rectangular weep spout with a 45° drip edge. It collects moisture that infiltrates block walls through vertical cores, and dynamically redirects it to the exterior of the structure effortlessly. The unique design of the flashing pan, bridge unit and concaved weep spout, allows the condensation to dissipate properly, as it secures the structures integrity and existence. Sandell®’s Blok-Flash assists proper drainage and should be used at all flashing and weep hole locations, at the base of walls, above door and window openings, above bond beams, in parapet walls, and in basements.
Sandell®’s Round Plastic Weep Hole
The permeable round opening of Sandell®’s Round Plastic Weep Hole immediately dismisses moisture from the structure, while it safely redirects water to the exterior of the building. Sandell®’s Round Plastic Weep Holes are available in sizes of 3/8” O.D. x 4” long.

Sandell®’s Rectangular Plastic Weep Tube
Sandell®’s Rectangular Plastic Weep Tube was specifically designed to sandwich perfectly between the brick for an ideal fit and to discharge moisture away from the structure properly. Water is thereby unrestricted and can flow freely through this unique rectangular opening with ease. Sandell®’s Rectangular Plastic Weep Tubes are available in sizes of 3/8” x 1-1/2” x 3-1/2”.

Sandell®’s Cell Vents
Sandell®’s Cell Vents have a distinct intersecting design that permits moisture to migrate immediately as it channels away from the cavity of the building, to the exterior. These intersections discourage debris and insect trappings that have a tendency to obstruct openings and cause drainage complications. Sandell®’s Cell Vents are available in a variety of colors and sizes. Standard Size of 3/8” x 2-1/2” x 3-3/8” or Jumbo Size 3/8” x 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”.
