Curtain Wall Systems
We offer a comprehensive range of standard and custom curtain wall systems. Our commitment to evolving computerized and manufacturing technologies, combined with our ongoing investment in research and development, all lead to innovative solutions. Each custom curtain wall design is thoroughly analyzed and developed through our unique engineering process. We perform two-dimensional stress and deflection analyses, and three-dimensional finite element analyses utilizing proprietary programs. Special aesthetic and technical requirements are examined in detail to ensure that they can be met. Each curtain wall system is engineered to integrate seamlessly with our windows, storefronts, entrance doors and architectural glass.

Unitized Curtain Wall Systems
State-of-the-art curtain wall systems are based on unitized technology. Unitized curtain wall is shop-fabricated, shop-glazed, and installed as individual frames or "units." Frames are normally one lite wide and one story high, but double-width and double-height frames are not uncommon. The "added-value proposal" behind unitization centers around performing all possible labor in the shop (not on site), because:

  • Unitized installation allows the builder to close in the building quickly, normally steps behind the concrete pours, getting inside trades to work, and hastening turnover and commercialization of the building.
  • Unitized fabrication enhances quality control (and minimizes defects in workmanship) by performing all possible work in factory-controlled conditions. Critical workmanship includes application of joint seals, priming and curing of structural silicones, installation of gaskets, and related quality inspection.
  • Unitized installation minimizes field labor costs by transferring labor operations into the shop wherever possible. Fully-unitized systems include shop-installation of all in-fills (glazing, spandrel, panels, stone, etc.). More sophisticated systems even have the glazing caps shop-installed, so trades do not have to work outside of the building envelope on the main portions of the curtain wall.

FULWAL: A state-of-the-art unitized curtain wall system is factory fabricated and glazed.
Series 4000: Curtain wall system features a split-mullion design for simplified field installation.

Pressure Wall Curtain Wall Systems

Series 6400
Pressure Wall System with ¼" glass offers a multitude of performance and design options. Varied system depths and internal nesting steel reinforcement allow tailoring of the curtain wall system to job-specific performance requirements for applications ranging from self-supported high-span lobby entries to entire building skins. Exterior appearance can incorporate fully captured mullions or 2-side silicone vertical mullions. Captured mullions have a virtually endless number of exterior face cover design options for different depths and shapes providing a unique building aesthetic. For additional aesthetic and function consideration we also offer 6400 Shade Structures.

Series 6000
Pressure Wall System with 1" glass, the perfect product when accentuated sightlines are desired on the exterior of the building with minimal framing visible from the interior. This system is "reversed" from the conventional curtain walls of today, with the structural element of the wall to the exterior of the building, and small trim caps to the interior. Gaskets are available with factory-molded corners. Continuous horizontal gutters result in superior air and water performance. Glass is set from the interior of the building, reducing field installation costs. The Series 6000 is available in a standard 3" wide x 6¾" deep offering, but can be customized to the specific needs of any project.

  • Accented exterior profile
  • Flush interior building appearance

I-Beam Curtain Wall Systems

Captured: A proven system for over 25 years, Series 3000 curtain wall is a "fully captured" wall system meeting the highest performance requirements. Suitable for medium to high-rise curtain wall installations, Series 3000 is available in 2½" or 3" wide profiles. The use of interior trims at vision areas only means a cost savings to the building owner. Interior trims are thermally isolated from the exterior climate conditions. Series 3000 can accommodate multiple finishes, allowing for non-matching interior and exterior profiles. The latest in architectural coatings are available, including high performance Kynar paints as well as a choice of anodic coatings. The time-proven design of the Series 3000 I-Beam curtain wall can be custom engineered to the specific requirements of any project.

  • Over 25 years of proven track record
  • Erection and glazing from interior

2-Sided Structural Silicone: A proven system for more than 25 years, the Series 2750 curtain wall is a two-sided vertically butt-glazed curtain wall system meeting the highest performance requirements. Suitable for medium to high-rise curtain wall installations, Series 2750 is available in 2½" or 3" wide profiles with standard depths of 7¼" and 8¼". The system can accommodate 1" insulated units or ¼" monolithic glazing. Glass is installed from the interior of the building, offering considerable cost savings in the field compared to exterior glazed systems. Series 2750 can accommodate multiple finishes, allowing for non-matching interior and exterior profiles. The latest in architectural coatings are available, including high performance Kynar paints as well as a selection of anodic coatings. Offering continuous horizontal guttering members with less finish requirements than most systems, the time-proven design of the Series 2750 I-Beam curtain wall can be custom engineered to the specific requirements of any project.

  • Applicable to low and high-rise construction
  • Butt-glazed verticals with structural silicone sealant
  • Adaptable for flat and segmented walls
  • Various outside and inside corner mullion assemblies available
  • Erection and glazing from interior

4-Sided Structural Silicone: The Series 4750 system is a four-sided structurally silicone glazed curtain wall meeting the highest standards for air and water performance. This system offers the appearance of a solid sheet of glass with no exposed aluminum on the exterior of the facade. No exposed aluminum means superior thermal performance. The Series 4750 is available with 3" wide profiles and standard depths of 7¼" and 8¾". The system can accommodate 1" insulated units or ¼" monolithic glazing. Structural glazing retainers are factory installed to the glass units with structural silicone in a controlled environment. The latest in architectural coatings are available, including high performance Kynar paints as well as a choice of anodic coatings.

Tubular Curtain Wall Systems

Series 6000: When accentuated sightlines are desired on the exterior of the building with minimal framing visible from the interior, Series 6000 is the product for your building. This system is "reversed" from the conventional curtain walls of today with the structural element of the wall to the exterior of the building, and small trim caps to the interior. Gaskets are available with factory molded corners. Continuous horizontal gutters result in superior air and water performance. Glass is set from the interior of the building, reducing field installation costs. The Series 6000 is available in a standard 3" wide x 6¾" deep offering, but can be customized to the specific needs of any project.

  • Accentuated exterior profile
  • Vertical mullion exposed to exterior of building
  • Versatile design with exterior aluminum accents
  • Flush interior building appearance

High-Span: This system is the designer's choice for the tallest of freestanding curtain wall installations. Structural steel framing members allow the Series 2000M to outperform the heaviest of aluminum curtain walls. Steel shapes are clad with aluminum extrusions and are available in a multitude of finishes. Offering both structural silicone and captured glazed vertical mullions, the Series 2000M can be customized to any depth to meet the structural requirements of your project. Continuous horizontal gutters and high-performance wedge gaskets enable the Series 2000M to be a proven performer against air and water penetration. Dual finishes can be utilized, giving the designer limitless color options.

Series 675: 2" x 6", ideal for low and high-rise window applications. The Series 675 window wall system offers the high performance benefits of "rain screen" design. The "pressure equalized" cavities allow for the elimination of exterior weather seals at silicone glazed and captured glazed vertical mullions. The split mullion design allows for factory pre-glazing and ease of installation. The sill anchor acts as a continuous gutter for water control. The head member offers continuous secondary water control as a standard feature. The Series 675 window wall system offers split-finish capabilities and comes in a standard 6" depth, customized to any specification.
