The newest product offering from Seating Concepts is turning the many heads with the possibilities of alternate seating solutions. With several years of research and engineering to its history, the BL 1600 Legend brings the absolute finest materials and most technically advanced engineering to multiple seating. Visually, you notice that it’s not a typical seating structure. Mounted on a single pedestal instead of traditional two stanchion methods, the structure system allows for ease of maintenance underneath the chair, a genuine concern for high traffic facilities. We created the panel support to allow versatility in selecting the shape and finish of the aisle panel and armrest shape. This permits the chair to have both traditional and contemporary design approaches. In addition to the individual pedestal support structure, you’ll find this product has a very slim profile. This is an important benefit to venues that whose seating space allowance may be somewhat scarce or to owners who need to maximize their chair count in order to accommodate large assemblies. A review of the center stanchion reveals new innovation option for auditorium multiple seating outside the cinema genre: a fully retractable center armrest console. By lifting up on the armrest, the unit folds to a fully retracted position between the back cushions while a fully upholstered spanner cushion rises and nestles between the seat cushions. This creates a totally new way to expand the seating area between patrons or to accommodate patrons who require more space. When the event program is over, the seats can be transformed back to their traditional individual seating configuration. The back and seat cushion incorporate our celebrated cold molded foam. Our initial responses from clients are overwhelming as to how we can create such a slim seating product and still have one of the most comfortable chairs in the market. The back and seat covers can be either typical injection molded, textured material, fully upholstered treatments or surfaced with plastic laminate or wood veneers. The flexibility in the seat appearance is extraordinary. Offered at 36 inches overall height, the BL 1600 Legend can be produced with a lounger mechanism to allow the chair back to move for additional patron comfort levels.
