- CrownCote Vapor Barrier is a modified epoxy-penetrating sealer formulated
to penetrate the cement paste portion of the concrete and fill pores within
the concrete upper structure to stop vapor transmission.
- The polymer is a two-component 100% solids, 100% reactive, ultra low viscosity,
moisture-insensitive and will not shrink.
- It has excellent adhesion to the aggregate and cement paste molecules.
- Cures under dry and damp conditions.
- Cured it is imperious to vapor transfer through the protection zone.

Use on clean concrete surfaces that have vapor transmissions problems.
Slabs-on-grade concrete floors
- Concrete that is subjected to high moisture environments
- Interior or exterior
- Pretreatment before overlaying floors with polymer systems, tile or carpets
- DO NOT APPLY ON WET OR WATER SATURATED CONCRETE SURFACES
- Do not apply when substrate temperature is below 33°F (1°C).
- Do not thin with solvents or other materials, they will prevent proper cure.
- Product No. 303 is a pretreatment material-Crown Polymers, LLC must approve
the wear surface prior to installation to be covered under warranty.

It is difficult to determine exact coverage’s of a penetrating product.
The denser the concrete the less penetration, and the higher the porosity of
the cement paste the deeper the product will penetrate. Contact the technical
representative at Crown polymers for assistance.

Joint manufacturer and contractor warranty is available prior to placement of
materials.
